Getting back on the horse has been hard the last 2 days

As of the morning of the 6th day of my current liquid fast I am having some hitches in my plan.  I have been having the occasional spoon of peanut butter.  Now if a juicer was powerful enough, peanut butter would be a juice right?  Wrong, it is a crutch I have developed and I intend to get off of it.  I do have to say however, that my weight loss is moving forward very well.  This morning I weighed in at 313.4 which is .4 lower than pre-vacation weight, and lower by about 2lbs from the end of my last fast.

I think that despite my setbacks I am still moving in the right direction.  When I do have some peanut butter I substitute that for a juice.  The last two days I have had about 4 juices and maybe 5 tablespoons of peanut butter, while feeling 0 hunger.  That is still pretty good compared to the past where nothing would fill me up.  It is also a good step back from my vacation dalliances.

I have not worked out in the past two days, mostly because of rain or soreness from my Monday workout.  I was crazy sore after my first day back in the gym.  It is time to head back though.  I will be back in on Friday with my trainer, and plan to hit the gym this weekend, or get in a run/bike ride/hike.  Maybe all of the above if the weather allows.

Anyway, I am happy and my weight is moving in the right direction.  I definitely have some work to do, but don’t we all?
