Journal Update: It has been 5 days, where have I been?

August 10, 2011

Thoughts for the days that were: August 5th through 9th

Well August 6th and 7th were a little bit off the normal eating for the week.  It was my son’s 5th birthday so I had a special permission to eat some cake and whatnot on Saturday from my wife.  I really did not eat too well that day considering we had the party catered by a good BBQ place.  I had a piece of cake and enjoyed it thoroughly.  I have to say that overall even with Saturday and some poor choices on Sunday it has been over a week now since I have binged and that feels great.

I feel like I am on track again and that things are getting better each day.  I have more energy, look forward to my workouts more and more importantly… I lost almost 4 pounds this week.  I weighed in pon Sunday for the competition and was at 304.8.  I am still up overall but heading down once again!

This week I plan on cleaning the food up a little by the end of the week and focus on drinking more water.  I have made it to the gym Friday, Monday and Tuesday so far in the last 5 days which is also a one for the win books.

Food Diary: 8/9/2011

I did my personal training session and did about 40 minutes of good cardio work and then weight and a few core exercises.  Good session and I felt great!

    Dwayne,
The only person that can give you permission to eat cake is YOU. Don’t make your wife the heavy…leads to the blame game and that can be a dangerous thing in a relationship.

You have the power to take control. Keep it up!
