10 days till resort: Good day finally!

March 25, 2011

Not too much exciting happened today, just ended up going to the gym and working of the office.  The office is 90% finished finally.  I am down to moving stuff in and putting some handles on that need to be picked up at IKEA.

I finished a 25 minute run at 5mph and that has me pretty pumped.  I was worried after not being able to finish it last week that I was going to have to do a whole extra week, but it looks like that was a fluke and I am going to be able to move on.

I did week 7 day one of the couch to 5k program.  It was awesome to actually finish the 25 minute run at a constant 5MPH.  I will hopefully be able to run an entire 5k at the resort!  I also kept walking till I had burned my 500 calories which is my minimum daily burn.

Breakfast this morning was a Kind bar at Starbucks with a coffee and a splash of half and half.  Lunch was a turkey burger and a small bag of popchips.  I had a Kind bar and another bag of popchips for a snack in the afternoon.  Dinner was Cashew Ginger Carrot soup (think Thai curry flavor) with some frozen noodles and veggies.  It was about 500 calories worth of food, the noodles were not as bad as I thought they would be.

Wow I am really lacking this week, I will get some more on the weekend.

You will definately be able to finish a 5K if you can run for 25 min straight….I did the couch to 5K and have sucessfully completed several 5Ks….nice job!!

I really hope so. I want to finish in sub 40 minutes first time, which for my weight would be good I think. I really want to get that time down and complete it.
