Comments/Thoughts (Tuesday 3/15/2011):

So I spent a crazy amount of money on a plane ticket today.  It was for my  trip out to the Biggest Loser Resort in Malibu.  It got me think about all of you that read the blog who want to go out there, but it is a bit too pricey.  You can do this program at home.  Start out small and incorporate the changes in pieces.  Starting eating whole grains with smaller portions at your meals and decrease your salt consumption.  Start eating mindfully with friends and family where you put talking to them first, and eating as a secondary part.  Enjoy each bite with the people you share it with, rather then shoveling it in.  Start moving…  A little at a time is all it takes and you will get more and more comfortable with it.  It is starting to warm up, go on a walk, or start the couch to 5k program, or just do some situps and push ups while watching TV.  You can do it, I have faith in you.

It was a good day since I was able to work on the blog quite a bit and flesh out a business plan for my future.  My wife and children were gone all day to visit a friend so I had plenty of free time.  I got a ton done and am excited about what the future holds.

Exercise:

Today I started doing kettlebells again after a hiatus while I healed up.  I love doing them and I burn calories so quick.  I did a 35 minute session at home since I had to wait for a delivery and that took up my usual gym time.  It is such a great interval/cardio/resistance training tool.  Try it out if you have someone you can get coaching from.  I highly recommend it.  If you go to the Malibu ranch get a session from Michael Castrogiovanni, he is amazing.

Food:

Breakfast was 2 eggs on a arnold bun with 2 pieces of lean bacon.  Lunch was turkey chili and cornbread.  Dinner was once again chili, but this time on a plain baked potato and I had a small bag of popchips.
