As of the morning of my day 24 I am down another 1.6 pounds putting my total weight loss so far at 29.2 pounds! Every time the scale drops I get a little more excited as I edge closer to my goals. It has definitely been a great experience doing this experiment with my diet. Consuming liquids for 23 days has taught me that I can keep myself from overeating and control my cravings. Controlling my cravings, in of itself, is a great lesson. (click continue reading for more)
Sorry for the sparse posting the last few days. I had a good weekend where I was able to stay on track with my juicing+liquid broth. As of the morning of my 22nd day I weighed 324.6! That is another two pounds gone, bringing my total to 28.2 pounds in 22 days. I have another 12 days left of fasting and I am hoping to get into the teens and in sight of sub 300 shortly after our vacation. I think another 6 pounds in my last 12 days of juicing is feasible as long as things stay as they are.
No weight lost from yesterday. I did lose 2.4 pounds the day before so no complaints. I am fairly happy with how things are going at the moment. I have hit my stride with the reboot plan I have chosen. It is working for me and that is really what I need to plow through some of this fat that has taken refuge on my frame. Best news of the day when I woke up is that I am down to 326.6! That is 2.4 pounds from the morning of the day 17. I am glad to see that I am still going to see some decent surges after my plateaus. It is really motivating and keeps me on the right track with this sort of diet/reboot. It is not easy, but one of the great benefits is the fairly consistent drops in my weight. I have now lost 26.2 pounds as of my 18th morning on this juice/liquid fast. That is pretty good as far as I am concerned. (click continue reading for more)
Well the good news is day sixteen went well, and I stayed juicing. I made some fruit juice in the morning, had some veggie/fruit for lunch and dinner was carrot juice soup. I woke up this morning and weighed 329 so I am down .8 pounds. Progress is probably going to continue at the .2-.5 a day mark from here on in and I just need to get used to that. Feeling kind of blah today for the typical reason when you only consume liquids… My weight did not move yesterday. I was the same weight today as I have been for the last two days which I know should not bum me out but I feel like a little movement each day is my right considering the liquids I consume. This is my first two day plateau and I guess it is good practice for the 3, 4 and weeklong plateau that are to come. This liquid reboot is much easier to take when the scale moves daily (which it ususally does,) but when your wheels just spin it get depressing quickly.
Well my weight is still moving in the right direction. Yesterday my weight was 329.6 and today it edged up to 329.8, but I am not really that upset. I have lost 23 pounds at the beginning of my 15th day and things are still looking pretty good. I have been able to maintain my 3 juices a day for the last couple of days without many problems.
The last two days have gone by pretty quickly and I was not really able to do any posting yesterday so I thought I would just catch up now at the end of my 13th day. Yesterday I was visiting a friend that was in Indianapolis and that kept me away most of the day. Had a good time, went to a convention with him and his family which was fun. I brought a juice with me in the van, but did not drink it till the end of the day when I was driving home. So yesterday essentially I had a juice in the morning, a juice at 6 and some carrot juice(soup) at 10.
