Well the last two weeks have seen quite a few changes, unfortunately not so great for my weight, but maybe good for my overall health.
Last week I went to visit a friend for his birthday at a cabin in some mountains in Pennsylvania. It was great and I hadn’t seen my friends in forever. I ate good some days and poor on others. Not my vacation to Florida bad, but apparently bad enough. I had weighed in at 313 before the trip while I was on my slow carb diet. I weighed in at 315 when I got back. That is actually the good news…
So this week I started to eat a plant based, no dairy and no added fat diet since that is what my wife wants to do for our new life plan. She read a new book that I will talk about when I have more time and when I got back I watched the Forks over Knives documentary. It seems to make sense most of what they talk about and present so I am on board.
The problem is I weighed this morning after 3 days eating that way and am at 317! ARGH! Anyway, I guess I will start the calorie counting. How miserable!
Working out is going well though! Anyway, just thought I would drop a quick line. Hope all of you are doing well.
